Dear Friends of the League,
On behalf of the League of Women Voters of Dallas County, I want to thank you for standing with us during one of the most consequential election seasons in recent memory. In both the November general election and the March primaries, our community faced significant challenges—from confusion at polling locations to widespread uncertainty about voting processes.
In moments like these, the League steps forward. And because of supporters like you, we did. Over the past several months, the League of Women Voters of Dallas has been on the front lines of voter education and access:
- We produced and distributed trusted, nonpartisan Voter Guides to help thousands of voters make informed decisions
- We hosted and supported candidate forums that brought transparency and accountability to local races
- We expanded use of VOTE411.org, ensuring voters had accurate, accessible information at their fingertips
- We deployed Election Navigators to assist voters in real time and help reduce confusion at the polls
- We responded to community needs with clarity, credibility, and a steadfast commitment to democracy
This work is not easy and it is not free.
As we look ahead, the need for trusted, nonpartisan voter education is only growing. The League remains committed to ensuring that every eligible voter in Dallas County has the information and confidence they need to participate in our democracy.
We cannot do this without you!
Today, I invite you to make a gift to support the League’s ongoing work. Your investment will fund voter education tools, community outreach, and programs that protect and strengthen our democratic process.
Whether you are a longtime member, a past sponsor, or a friend of the League, your support matters now more than ever.
Together, we can ensure that every voice is heard—and every vote counts!
